National Electrical Wholesaler (NEW), a leading provider of quality electrical equipment and innovative solutions established in the Irish market since 1935, has embarked on its latest wave of expansion. Alongside new locations in Drogheda and Athlone, the electrical wholesaler has opened a branch on the Kells Road in Navan to serve Co Meath. Opened in August 2025, the new site is supported by NEW’s strong branch network across Ireland and its Ballycoolin head office boasting a spacious 40,000sqft warehouse. Branch Manager Derek Meehan has 30 years of industry experience under his belt, while Assistant Manager Damien
Carolan has been working in the trade for 25 years and Head of Sales and Business Development Colm McDermott for 42 years. Rounding out a high-calibre team at Navan are Head of Stock Paul Sheridan with 28 years, Head of Counter Sales Tracey Deegan with 20 years, and Warehouse Manager Damien with six years’ experience. Additional NEW branches are located at Ballymount and Malahide Road in Dublin, Bray, Castledermot, Cork, Edenderry, Limerick, Mallow and Naas and, in Northern Ireland under the CEW brand, at Dunmurry, Cookstown, Newry, Enniskillen, Belfast North, Lisburn and J14.
