DATA COLLECTION DATES Two sets of two consecutive weeks, Feb 26, 2023 - Mar 11, 2023 and Apr 09, 2023 - Apr 22, 2023, were selected to represent consistent and desirable baseline conditions for traffic analysis. During this time, local public schools and two local institutions of higher education (Georgia State University and Georgia Institute of Technology) were in regular academic session (no final exams, spring breaks, or graduation ceremonies). These dates also avoid holidays that may generate changed traffic conditions (Valentine’s Day) and holiday weekends (Easter) in which commuter traffic may be altered. External events ongoing during these collection dates include the Atlanta Dogwood Festival and the America’s Mart in downtown Atlanta, but are not thought to impact the data. Additionally, only the weekdays (Tuesday – Thursday) will be assessed so the true study dates are:

Feb 28, March 1, March 2 March 7, March 8, March 9 April 11, April 12, April 13 April 18, April 19, April 20
