number of trips 2-3 miles long was derived proportional to the area of the circular walkshed (24%). These trips were added to the number of trips 1-2 miles long to calculate the number of bikeable trips The remaining trips 3-5 miles long were moved to the local street network. Prevailing travel time and trip length for vehicles passing through these zones (northbound and southbound Downtown Connector near the study area) are 30-40 minutes and 20-30 miles, respectively. Of these vehicular trips, less than 1% were less than 5 miles long, resulting in a total of 2,962 trips removed from the I-75/I-85 Downtown Connector (1,607 in the northbound direction, and 1,355 in the southbound direction).
