Description
Dedication of one onāstreet dedicated transit lane on Courtland Street between John Portman Boulevard and MLK Jr. Drive. ADID and MARTA are advancing scoping and feasibility on the proposed off-street bus facility adjacent to the Civic Center MARTA Station. The bus facility, which would include development overbuild, is identified as part of the Stitch vision. This project will provide bus rapid transit service on the North Avenue corridor from the MARTA North Avenue heavy rail station to Beltline/Ponce City Market area. This project will provide high capacity premium transit service along the North Avenue corridor between MARTA's North Avenue and Bankhead heavy rail stations.
