COPENHAGEN Copenhagen’s distinctive modern opera house was designed by Danish architect Henning Larsen, and it is one of the most sophisticated stages in the world. Located on the Inner Harbour, it is almost surrounded by water, and guests can arrive by boat directly in front of the opera house – particularly atmospheric of an evening. The building is perfectly aligned with the historic Royal Palaces of Amalienborg, across the canal.The interiors feature artworks by Per Kirkeby and Olafur Eliasson, who contributed the three spherical chandeliers in the foyer.
