FOR EXAMPLE, WHAT ENROLLMENT DID YOU ENVISION AND WHAT KINDS OF FACILITIES DID YOU ENVISION AFrER THAT DATE? That is a whole new facet of the entire work of Biola. Let me begin by saying that I envisioned a Bible college during World War II. It was a Bible institute then with a collegiate nature, but not a full-fledged Bible college. I felt that when World War II finished, we would need to move ahead academically to meet the needs of the post- World War II era, even as we had developed the curriculum from the original Bible institute concept before WWI to when we enlarged the curriculum following WWI to meet the needs of that day.
