extended almost around the world. We were in the junior colleges and the universities up and down the coast. I remained in the Bible Club work until September 1, 1936, when I became employed at Biola. When I became President in 1952, the school was moving along very satisfactorily by way of accreditation and recognition as a Bible College. We had been thinking in terms of a teacher training program that would equip, particularly our young ladies, to become teachers in the public schools. The Dean and I had made several trips to Sacramento to talk with the Education Department and had talked with some of the administrators of the junior colleges here in southern California. As I related elsewhere, Mrs. Gloria Graham and Mrs. Margaret Jacobsen were very active in working out the details of the Education course which would be satisfactory to lead to the teacher training diploma.
