COMMUNITY AT THE CENTER The exercise centers at MIND & MOBILITY HOME CARE CENTERS offer an engaging community to our members. Our therapists and caregivers work together at our exercise centers to facilitate programs that address our member’s social, emotional, cognitive, functional mobility, and balance needs. MIND Our cognitive therapeutic programs include evidence-based activities designed for individuals with memory impairment and a combination of physical and cognitive stimulation exercises. MOBILITY MIND & MOBILITY HOME CARE CENTERS offers UNLIMITED access to THE CENTERS. Every home care member receives one-on-one sessions with a licensed physical therapist and occupational therapist to work on balance, functional strengthening and gait training exercises. CARE MANAGEMENT Our care management services, which are coordinated by licensed clinical social workers, provide resources needed to allow members to continue to live at home. Counseling services for our members and their families are also offered.

HOME CARE Members are given the opportunity to select their own caregiver. Caregivers can escort members to the exercise centers, where rehabilitation professionals and the caregiver provide one-on-one therapy. Healthy Recipe

Skillet Chicken & Parmesan Paella INGREDIENTS • 4 teaspoons canola oil

• 1 medium onion, chopped • 2 garlic, minced • 1 14 1/2 ounce can no-salt- added stewed tomatoes • 3/4 cup peas • 1 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

• 1/4 teaspoon salt • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper • 1/8-1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper • 1/8 teaspoon ground saffron/ ground turmeric • 2 cups cooked brown rice • 6 ounces peeled shrimp

• 12 ounces skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, cut into bite-size strips • 1 small red sweet pepper, cut into bite-size strips • 1 small green sweet pepper, cut into bite-size strips

DIRECTIONS In a large skillet heat half of the oil. Cook chicken strips in hot oil for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from skillet. Set aside. Add remaining half of the oil to the skillet. Add sweet pepper, onion, and garlic; cook and stir until peppers and onion are tender. Add undrained stewed tomatoes, frozen peas,

oregano, paprika, salt, black pepper, crushed red pepper, and saffron or turmeric. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cover and simer for 5 minutes. Stir in the brown rice, shrimp, and cooked chicken. Cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes more or until heated through. Makes 4 servings (1-1/2 cups each).
