ORPS QUILTERS & SEWING CLUB Tuesday - Friday West Room at ES

The Communications Committee is currently working on developing a new charter and will be adding new subcommittees that redefines its roles and responsibilities. If you have a background or interest in communications, or if you would enjoy being a representative of the resort who assists with communications throughout the resort and helps to plan social activities, please consider coming to a Communications Committee meeting to be a part of the shaping the future in resort communications. If you are unable to attend the meeting but you have input regarding resort communications, please contact Chair, K RISTEN D AMAZIO , at kristendamazio@gmail.com to share your thoughts so we can continue to improve the communications processes in the resort. The New Owner Reception on January 21 had over 150 people in attendance. New Owners were greeted by ORPS Board of Directors members, were welcomed by ORPS staff and enjoyed drink and appetizers while mingling with other new owners. Thank you to the volunteers who ensured the success of this very important event. Our next Communications Committee meeting will be February 4 at 10AM in the Owners’ Lounge Multipurpose Room.

The Girl with Seven Names: A North Korea Defector’s Story By Lee Kyeon-seo (author) and David John (contributor)

Lee Kyeonseo, a student who now lives in South Korea is best known for being a defector and activist. She escaped from North Korea and later guided her family out of North Korea through China and Laos. This is our annual meeting where spouses and guests are invited. The meeting will start at 4PM followed by a potluck dinner. If you would like to come and haven’t signed up yet, call J EAN D IETRICH to let her know what you will bring. EVERYONE IS WELCOME.
