The study is Gideon by P RISCILLA S HIRER . This study will encourage you to recognize your weaknesses as the key the Lord gives you to unlock the full experience of His strength in your life. Don’t ignore or try to escape your weaknesses, see them as the gifts they are, given specifically and strategically by God to unlock the door of His strength in your life. HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! GOD IS LOVE AND HE SHARES IT WITH US Thank you Lord for giving us the ability to share Your love in the days ahead as we pattern loving after your kindness and gift of love, being careful to do so with each day we tread. Give us warm and gentle hearts that are always ready to help a friend. Give us strength and courage so a shoulder we may lend. May each day be filled with joy and the happiness it brings. May all the fighting and concerns end as we build each other up even during times of disagreement. May our hearts be filled with love resulting in a peaceful happy way to live which occurs as we are enabled by Your love. You created us for Yourself and our hearts are restless until they rest in you. I want your control in my life, yet sometimes I feel troubled about losing my control. We need your love but sometimes fear the ramifications of loving others as you have loved us. Help us to see what life could be if we loved You with all our heart and remove the self-constructed obstacles to trusting You completely. I want to open my mind to knowing Your Word which so clearly gives a clear definition and life instruction for loving You and those we come in contact with. Enable us to practice this Bible verse written by King David:
RESORTERS’ CHORUS
The chorus got off to a good start in November with Christmas carol
practice. We then sang three carols at Chapel in December. We had our first practice of the New Year on January 8 with over 40 singers present. In response to suggestions we have several new songs including Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah”, “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” and “Operator” arranged by Kirby Shaw. We will likely sing these at our March 17 concert .
