Construct a temporary bypass pipeline in the WSTD vault to connect to the Palo Alto water main. The bypass piping will include a meter set consisting of a strainer, flow meter, swing check valve, and pressure reducing valve in the WSTD vault. Also replace the current 16” steel pipe connection between the vaults with ductile iron pipe according to the terms and plans detailed in CPAU’s plans. Replace a 16” water pipeline and install a 4” bypass at Service Connection #77, within a portion of SFPUC’s Pipeline Right of Way, located at California Avenue, in the City of Palo Alto, CA.

Install a total of three new slide gates for the City of Santa Clara Department of Public Works (SCDPW). Four temporary sewage bypasses to maintain service during inspections removal and Installation of the new slide gates. Eastside Pump Station: Replacement of two existing slide gates and frames. Wet Well & Underground Piping
The work consisted of a new sanitary sewer lift station in the same location as the existing lift station in Vallejo, CA. The new lift station consists of a new wet well with submersible pumps, an electrical and controls building with standby generator, and surge tank for hydraulic transient control.

DIGESTER GAS ISOLATION AND PURGING
Relocation and installation of an owner-furnished vacuum tank to be used as an iron sponge for H2S removal. Provide and install all associated valving, piping and supports to connect the tank into the existing digester gas feed and new condensate drainage inlet. Installation of tank filter system including owner- furnished cobbles, mesh and iron media.

Poplar at Golf Course Trash Capture Project
The Poplar at Golf Course Trash Capture Project is a part of the City’s plan to achieve compliance with the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board’s (RWQCB) Municipal Regional Stormwater Permit. The permit requires reduction of trash and litter, relative to 2009 baseline values, by 90% by June 20, 2023 and by 100% by June 30, 2025. The Project consists of installing four full-capture screen devices within an existing concrete-lined storm drainage channel adjacent to the Poplar Creek Golf Course.

Transfer Line and Hydrant System Repairs
Install rumble plates, linear controls, stabilized construction entrance with tire wash stormwater related Best Management Practices (BMPs) (e.g. straw wattle, silt fencing) as needed at the various work locations. Daily closeout of the Work, including any potential transport or hauling of soil, will require sweeping and cleaning to an acceptable level by the SFO Airfield Operations staff. This project consists of extension (to grade) of one low point drain (NLP-6) and a high point vent (OHP- 6), decommissioning one fuel vault (FV-14), and installation of a high point vent riser into an existing isolation valve pit (BAB-IVP-50-3). This includes installation of pit components, associated equipment, hydrostatic pit testing, and application of protective coatings. Confirmation soil samples are to be analyzed for TPHd using Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Method 8015M with silica gel cleanup method 3630C.
