ZAC CRAIG President, Visit Oklahoma City
Zac Craig was appointed president of Visit Oklahoma City in February 2021. Within this role, Craig is responsible for enhancing OKC’s brand by marketing and selling the city as a premier destination for group, leisure, business and other related travel. He comes to the position after more than 11 years with Omni Hotels & Resorts where he most recently served as area director of sales and marketing. Craig’s hospitality career began in guest services working for Promus Hotel Corporation at the DoubleTree Hotel at Warren Place in Tulsa. A native of Oklahoma, he received his Master of Science in hospitality administration from Oklahoma State University and his undergraduate degree from the University of Tulsa.
REPRESENTATIVE MARK LAWSON Oklahoma House District 30, Oklahoma House of Representatives
Rep. Mark Lawson was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2016. His primary focus during his legislative service has been children and family issues. Rep. Lawson has championed legislation to strengthen families and reduce childhood trauma. Currently, he serves as chairman for the Appropriations and Budget subcommittee for Human Services, which oversees 10% of the entire state budget. Additionally, Rep. Lawson serves on the full Appropriations and Budget committee and the standing committees on Government Efficiency and Children, Youth & Family Services. Rep. Lawson holds a Bachelor of Science in health education from Oklahoma State University and is currently enrolled as a master’s student at the University of Oklahoma in the public administration program.
