SENATOR ADAM PUGH Chairman of the Senate Education Committee
Senator Adam Pugh represents District 41, covering Edmond and northeast Oklahoma City. He chairs the Senate Education Committee, the Appropriations Subcommittee on Education, and founded the Oklahoma Aerospace and Aviation Caucus. Pugh is CEO of AP Jetworks, an aerospace and defense company. Recognized as one of Oklahoma’s “40 Under 40” in 2017, he later received the State Chamber’s Visionary Award and was named a Rising Star. In 2020, he earned national recognition from the White House for regulatory reform and from the Department of Defense for supporting veterans. He also serves on Oklahoma’s Workforce and Economic Development Council.
Senator Kristen Thompson was elected in 2022 to represent District 22, covering parts of Oklahoma and Canadian counties. She and her husband, Bryce, have built multiple businesses in commercial construction and hospitality, providing over 200 jobs in the Oklahoma City metro. Before serving in the Senate, Thompson was actively involved in her community, volunteering in public schools and serving on the Visit Edmond Tourism Board, where she worked on initiatives to support tourism growth. She currently serves on the Tri Delta Children’s Foundation, which supports pediatric cancer organizations in Oklahoma.
SENATOR ALLY SEIFRIED Vice Chair of the Senate Education Committee
Senator Seifried was first elected to the Oklahoma Senate in 2022. Born and raised in Claremore, she is a proud ninth-generation Oklahoman. Ally Seifried ran for the Oklahoma Senate in 2022 for retiring Senator Marty Quinn’s 2nd district seat. She won the November general election and assumed office on November 16, 2022. Ally currently works in her family’s small business as the special projects manager when she is not at the Capitol. She has also worked in branding and marketing, in addition to working as the development specialist for Safenet Services, a domestic abuse and sexual assault prevention agency, serving Rogers and Tulsa Counties.
