T he CIPP’s policy and research team, led by Mathew Akrigg, policy and research officer, hosts a technical panel every six months with a range of passionate payroll experts. What did the panel discuss at its latest meeting? Read on to find out… Readers were last given a glimpse into discussions held by the CIPP’s technical panel in the February 2024 issue of Professional magazine. The panel met once again in September 2024 to discuss the topics currently impacting the payroll profession. What’s discussed at the CIPP technical panel? The last panel was held on 11 September 2024 and the panel discussed an array of topical payroll items.
