AIRFOIL FUME HOOD The Airfoil conventional bypass hood frames the sash opening in angled fascia to minimize air turbulence. Air Management: Constant exhaust volume, drawing air efficiently through the sash when open or through the bypass opening when sash is closed. Superstructure: Outer wall is chemically resistant powder coated sheet steel. Interior lining is a phenolic sheet material unless otherwise specified. Double wall construction offers a 5” chase area, making it easy to install plumbing and electrical fixtures within walls Airfoil: Front opening is framed with a 45° angle fascia that substantially reduces the turbulence of air entering the hood. The bottom horizontal airfoil directs a current of air at countertop level to purge heavy fumes or spillage. Standard Features: Powder coat finish, full frame construction, shaft drive sash, U.L. listed poly resin liner, LED light with bulbs, flush-mount airfoil, knock down capability, full-length finger lift, louvered front for by-pass, and 10” round S/S duct collar. Options: Linear options, sash options, epoxy tops, plumbing, electrical, blowers, and other options.

THIN WALL FUME HOOD The Thin Wall conventional bypass hood offers superior economy while maximizing use of lab space. Air Management: Constant volume through open sash or through bypass opening when sash is closed. Flush interior permits smooth airflow. Superstructure: Outer wall is chemical resistant powder coated sheet steel. Interior lining is a phenolic sheet material unless otherwise specified. This design allows greatest access to work area in the smallest space. Standard Features: Powder coat finish, full frame construction, shaft drive sash, U.L. listed poly resin liner, LED light with bulbs, knock down capability, full-length finger lift, and louvered front for by-pass. Options: Linear options, sash options, epoxy tops, blowers, and other options.
