Bambanker™ Cryopreservation Method No Serum Dependency Bambanker™ is serum-free, ensuring consistent results without lot-to-lot variability. No Stepwise Freezing Direct freezing at -80°C with ready-to-use medium, eliminating time-consuming procedures. Simplified Protocol Only requires resuspension in Bambanker™, transfer to cryovials, and freezing—no special equipment needed.
Serum Requirement Cells are resuspended in a cryopreservation medium containing fetal bovine serum (FBS), which adds variability and risks contamination. Stepwise Freezing Cells are frozen gradually at a controlled rate, often requiring a programmable freezer or liquid nitrogen for consistency.
