At the heart of the Park stands the Historic Four Mile House, Denver’s oldest standing structure, built in 1859. Once a stagecoach stop along the Cherokee Trail, this beautifully preserved house and the surrounding grounds transport visitors back through Colorado’s history. The Park offers a rich blend of hands- on learning, scenic landscapes, and experiences perfect for families, school groups, and history enthusiasts. Guests can tour the historic house, explore authentic replica structures, visit with horses, goats, chickens, pigs, and even try their hand at gold panning.
