banks-based, geologist that has been active in Alaska for more than 40 years.
He received a BS degree in Mining Geology from the College of Earth Sciences and Mineral Indus- tries (CESMI) at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks (UAF) in 1973 and an M.S. Degree in Economic Geology at UAF in 1981. For

Aside from the Alaska Miners As- sociation I have served on The Alaska Support Industry Alliance and Fair- banks Chamber of Commerce boards and volunteer for Special Olympics and others as time allows. In our limited spare time we enjoy curling and spending time with family and friends. We have cabins in the inte- rior we frequent as often as possible and enjoy the opportunity to get out of town. I believe in responsible development of our resources and they are key to a healthy economy creating a place where future generations can afford to live and raise a family. Anna Atchison Anna Atchison was born in Palmer and raised on a traditional homestead at the base of the Talkeetna Mountains. She calls Fairbanks home along with her husband Shane, general manager of the interior’s Peterbilt and Craig Taylor dealerships. The lights of their lives are KEN HALL
25 years, Tom was Senior Economic Geologist with the geological survey division of the Alaska Department of Natural Resources, where he completed geologic mapping studies of State- owned lands and designed and wrote the Alaska Minerals Report series for two decades. During the 1980s, Tom provided the State of Alaska summaries of strategic and critical mineral endow- ment during the D-2 Land debates. In 1997, Tom retired from state service and established Pacific Rim Geological Consulting, Inc. (PRGCI), a Fairbanks-based consulting company. He has conducted mineral studies in Alaska, Northwest Canada, Scandinavia, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Greenland and the Russian Federation. A past Statewide President of the Alaska Miners Association (2003-2005), Tom is the current President of the Alaska Mining Hall of Fame Foun - dation, an organization that honors Alaska’s Mining Pioneers. Wendie is a travel and adventure enthusiast and once ex- perienced the ride of her life in a black hawk helicopter over Interior Alaska. She has planted roots in her dream home in Fairbanks with her husband and 13-year-old son. Anna has been an active member of the Fairbanks branch since 2012 and has served as vice-chair and chair. While Anna will term out after this go-round, she plans to stay involved with the Fairbanks branch as she can’t imagine anything else!
