Dave Larimer While raised in Colorado, I very much consider Alaska as my home. The roots to my “transplant” to Alaska started in 2000, with my first duty sta - tion for the US Army to Ft. Wainwright. Following my service, and multiple deployments around the world, I moved back to Fairbanks. As an Economic Ge-

ologist, my passion is the understand- ing of how hydro- thermal gold sys- tems develop and form. Further to this, I enjoy work- ing these deposits into pathways that can be economi- cally extracted. I have worked pure greenfield explo -

serving as chair- man, vice-chair- man, secretary, treasurer, and director, as well as chairing the biannual Fairbanks AMA Conference technical sessions since 2000. He believes in advo-

I am currently the Vice President of Exploration for the newly established Felix Gold exploration company, based here in Fairbanks. We are extremely excited about the future for Fairbanks, the exploration potential through the Fairbanks gold trend, as well as the future of Alaska Miners Association! I feel honored to be here and could not be where we are with out the support of my loving wife Vanessa (Alaska and Fairbanks Native), our son Brandyn (currently deployed to Qatar with the US Army), and our 2 dogs Charlie and Kevin (both born here in Fairbanks).
