Juneau Chairman Jim Clark Jim Clark grew up in a military family. He attended the first grade in Anchorage. He also lived in Japan for three years during his childhood. Clark served in the JAG Corp of the US Army. He spent 30 years as an attorney at Rob -

vada before mov- ing to the Meikle Mine with Barrick. I worked through most of the geology and engineering departments for Meikle, Rodeo, and

years. I then came to Juneau to begin working for Kens- ington, owned by Coeur Alaska just prior to commercial production in 2010, and have been here for almost 12 years now. I’ve been a member of AMA for the past two years but have been a regular attendee at the local weekly meetings for the past four years. My wife and twins keep me busy outside of work, although not with as much camping as I’d like due to, well you know, Southeast Alaska’s “liquid sunshine.” I enjoy working around the house and some woodworking projects when I can. I do much reading and in- dulge in my fascination with science and a variety of works in fictional topics. Frank Bergstrom BS Geology University of Washington.
