When he’s not at his desk, he can usually be found on his boat pursuing king salmon in the waters around Juneau. I have a son Liam who is current- ly a sophomore at Thunder Mountain High School in Juneau. Outside of work I enjoy traveling to somewhere warmer than Juneau in the winter. I’ve coached youth baseball since 2009 from Little League, Travel Ball, and currently an assistant coach for Thunder Mountain High School Base - ball. I also spend time during the fish - ing season teaching fellow Juneau AMA board member Jesse Walker all the tips and tricks of king salmon fishing. was fortunate to become a geology intern at DGGS in the 1980’s while studying at UAF. Two senior geol- ogist, Gar Pessel and Gil Mull kept talking about “the discovery well”. Both were at Prud- hoe Bay in 1968. I learned so much from them and
