Dragi putnici,
IAKO SEPTEMBAR MNOGE PODSEĆA NA SKORI DO- LAZAK JESENI, istina je da je to letnji mesec u kom se i dalje možete odmoriti na brojnim destinacijama do ko- jih Er Srbija leti. Ukoliko volite aktivan odmor, septembar je pra- vi trenutak za tako nešto. Mesec u kom počinje berba grožđa verovatno je najbolji za obilazak vinskih desti- nacija Italije, Francuske i Španije. Utorkom i subotom našim udobnim avionima za samo 95 minuta može- te stići do Firence. Ne morate biti ljubitelj vina da biste uživali u magiji toskanske regije. Bajkovitost predela nahraniće sva vaša čula. Nakon šetnji utabanim staza- ma renesansne kulture sa puta ćete se vratiti ispunje- ni osećajem topline koji će vas grejati u predstojećim hladnijim danima. Septembar je podjednako lep u prirodi i u gradu. Mi smo septembarski broj magazina posvetili austrij- skoj prestonici, do koje u letnjoj sezoni letimo i do tri puta dnevno, pa ukoliko do sada niste bili u Beču, pra- vo je vreme da to učinite. Pored svakodnevnih letova, Er Srbija je za Beč vezana i jednim, manje poznatim, a važnim istorijskim događajem. Naime, davne 1929. godine kompanija Aeroput, čija smo ponosna nasled- nica, uspostavila je prvu međunarodnu avio-liniju na ovim prostorima, i to upravo od Beograda, preko Za- greba, do Beča. Skoro vek kasnije ruta između glav- nog grada Srbije i prestonice Austrije jedna je od naj- traženijih u našoj rastućoj mreži destinacija. Kada već govorimo o mreži, upravo ona se u 2023. snažno razvijala. U prvoj polovini godine uve- li smo više od 20 novih destinacija, obavili 19.181 let i prevezli više od 1,7 miliona putnika. Veoma smo pono- sni na ostvarene rezultate i trudićemo se da u drugoj polovini godine putnicima pružimo još bolju uslugu. Kako bismo to ostvarili, snage smo usmerili na unapređenje svih naših resursa. Nastavili smo sa obu- kama novih koleginica i kolega u timu kabinske posa- de, a sredinom avgusta flotu smo osnažili još jednom letelicom tipa „embraer E-195“. Taj avion ima 118 se- dišta u kabini i već leti do brojnih destinacija u našoj mreži među kojima su Cirih, Stokholm, Atina, Kopen- hagen, Diseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Rim, Milano, Ljubljana, Prag, kao i Beč. Možda ove redove čitate le- teći upravo u tom avionu. Na koju god destinaciju da ste se ovog septem- bra zaputili, ne zaboravite da bar na trenutak zastane- te i za sebe ukradete trenutak kog ćete se kasnije ra- do sećati. Uživajte u letu i srećan put,
ALTHOUGH SEPTEMBER BRINGS TO MIND THE IMMI- NENT ARRIVAL OF AUTUMN for many, the truth is that it‘s a summer month during which you can still relax at numerous destinations served by Air Serbia. If you enjoy active holidays, September is the perfe- ct time to take a trip. The month that marks the start of the grape harvest is perhaps the best month to explore the wi- ne destinations of Italy, France and Spain. With our com- fortable planes, you can reach Florence in just 95 minu- tes, every Tuesday and Saturday. You don‘t have to be a wine enthusiast to enjoy the magic of Tuscany. Its enchan- ting landscapes will stimulate all your senses. After stro- lling along the well-trodden paths of Renaissance culture, you’ll return with a sense of warmth that will keep you fee- ling cosy during the coming colder days. September is equally beautiful in nature and in the ci- ty. The focus of the September issue of our inflight maga- zine is the Austrian capital, which we fly to up to three ti- mes a day during the summer season, so if you’ve yet to visit Vienna, now is the perfect time to do so. In addition to our daily service, Air Serbia is also linked to Vienna thro- ugh a lesser-known yet significant historical event: back in 1929, then national airline Aeroput, of which we are the proud successor, established the first international servi- ce in this region – precisely from Belgrade, via Zagreb, to Vienna. Almost a century on, the route between the Ser- bian and Austrian capitals is one of the most sought-after in our growing network of destinations. Speaking of our network, it has been expanding rapid- ly throughout 2023. We introduced over 20 new destina- tions in the first half of the year, operating 19,181 flights and carrying more than 1.7 million passengers. We are very pro- ud of our achievements to date and will strive to provide an even better service to our passengers in the second half of the year. In order to achieve this, we have directed our efforts towards enhancing all of our resources. We have conti- nued training new colleagues in the cabin crew team, while we strengthened our fleet in mid-August with another Em- braer E-195 aircraft. This plane has 118 seats in the passen- ger cabin and is already flying to numerous destinations in our network, including Zurich, Stockholm, Athens, Copen- hagen, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Rome, Milan, Lju- bljana, Prague and Vienna. Perhaps you are reading these lines while you fly aboard that very aircraft. No matter which destination you’re heading to this September, don‘t forget to pause and steal a moment for yourself, which you will remember fondly later. Enjoy your flight and have a nice trip,
