Centar grada krase kanali inspirisani holandskim stilom gradnje, a uz njih se pružaju biciklističke staze. Glavne znamenitosti su Gradska saborna crkva, Glavna žele- znička stanica, Geteborška opera, kao i gradski muzej u kome se mogu videti ostaci auten- tičnog vikinškog broda. The city centre is enriched with canals inspired by the Dutch architectural style, complete with cycle lanes stretching alongside them. The main landmarks are Gothenburg Cathedral, Gothenburg Central Station, the Gothenburg opera house and the city museum, where the remnants of an authentic Viking ship are exhibited.
