Coming to the Star Channel this autumn is one of the most success- ful American sitcoms of re- cent times, the series Only Murders in the Building, which has the star trio of Steve Martin, Selena Gomez and Martin Short in the lead roles. This comedy-drama series, which has already won three Em- mys and received 25 more Emmy nominations, as well as another sev- en for the Golden Globes, brings a hilarious and unusual story in which three fans of true crime and intrigue - Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short) and Mabel (Selena Gomez) – find themselves living in the same luxury apartment building, in an exclusive New York
neighbourhood, where a murder takes place. The trio launch their own investigation to uncover the killer, while simultaneously creat- ing a podcast detailing the investi- gation, never suspecting the kinds of secrets about their building and the people who live there will be revealed by their probe. The only thing more exciting than the mys- teries confronting them at every turn are the lies that they tell one another to cover up the real clues, because the killer may be hiding among them.
