B eogradski festival igre slavi dve decenije postojanja senzacionalnim programom koji nosi poseban sjaj i selektorsku od- luku da sve predstave treba da uliju na- du i entuzijazam. Igri u čast, okupiće se sjajne trupe, otvoriti važne teme koje analiziraju sa- vremeno društvo kroz zanimljiv i raznovrstan rečnik pokreta, kreirati trenuci koji imaju snagu da prome- ne svet i pokrenu najlepše emocije. Zahvaljujući ovom festivalu, Beograd je danas važ- na stanica u biografiji umetnika koji kreiraju trendo- ve, mesto gde se otkrivaju nove produkcije i sa jed- nakom pažnjom predstavljaju poznati i mladi autori. Aktuelnost programa odredila je poziciju manifestaci- je na međunarodnoj mapi, dok visoki standardi i hra- bro uvođenje novih koreografskih rukopisa i esteti- ke unapređuju očekivanja publike i diktiraju sadržaj. Od osnivanja je predstavljeno gotovo 500 ko- reografskih radova, dok je svake godine festival u proseku pratilo 20.000 gledalaca i 100 akreditova- nih novinara iz zemlje i inostranstva. Mi vam ovom prilikom predstavljamo tek neke od predstava u ko- jima ćete moći da uživate na predstojećem festivalu.
T he Belgrade Dance Festival celebrates two decades of its existence with a sensation- al programme that brings special radiance and reflects the selectors’ decision that all performances should bring inspiration and enthusiasm. In honour of dance, amazing artists and great dance companies will gather, address important topics that analyse modern society through an inter- esting and diverse vocabulary of movement, and cre- ate moments that have the power to change the world and trigger the most beautiful emotions. Thanks to this Festival, Belgrade has become an important port of call in the career resumes of artists who create trends; a place where new productions are discovered and where well-known and young authors are represented with equal attention. The cutting-edge nature of the programme has determined the festival’s position on the international map, while high stand- ards and the bold introduction of new choreographic manuscripts and aesthetics enhance the expectations of the audience and dictate content creation. Since its founding, the BDF has presented almost 500 choreographic works, while every year the Festi- val has been followed by an average of 20,000 specta- tors and 100 accredited local and international jour- nalists. Here we present to you just a few of the shows that you’ll be able to enjoy at the upcoming edition of the festival.
