This is a city of broad, palm tree-lined avenues by the sea, parks, gardens bejewelled wi- th fountains and various tropical plants, stunning beaches, intense nightlife, excellent museums and wonderful restaurants offering seafood speciali- ties. The second largest city in Andalusia after Se- ville, Málaga is the most densely populated urban centre and the geographical centre of the tourist region of the Costa del Sol, which encompasses 160 kilometres of coastline.
