T he Cannes Film Festival is always a place where everyone will find at least one film that they love, and this year’s edition was no exception. Fan- tastic creations were screened, some won awards and some didn’t, but they all de- serve attention when they appear in cinemas. Here are just a few of the good films that you shouldn’t miss... DiCaprio and De Niro in a Martin Scorsese flick, Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore in a feature about a scandalous romance, new works by Aki Kaurismäki, Wes Anderson and Wim Wenders, the film that won this year’s Palme d'Or and many more top films... K anski festival je uvek mesto na kom će svako naći bar jedan omiljeni film, pa ni ovogodiš- nje izdanje nije bilo izuzetak. Prikazana su fantastična ostva- renja, neka su dobila nagrade, neka nisu, ali na sve treba obratiti pažnju kada se pojave u bioskopima. Ovo su tek neki od dobrih fil- mova koje ne treba da propustite... Ves Anderson i Vim Venders, ostvarenje koje se ovenčalo „Zlatnom palmom“ i još mnogo dobrih filmova... Ovaj francuski triler svakako ne treba propustiti jer je do- bitnik „Zlatne palme“ ovo- godišnjeg Kanskog festiva- la, a rediteljka Žistin Trije tek je treća žena koja je osvoji- la ovu prestižnu nagradu ko- ja se dodeljuje od 1955. godi- ne. Reč je o napetoj sudskoj drami o spisateljici optuženoj za ubistvo supruga, koju glu- mi Nemica Sandra Huler, a ko- ja na sudu pokušava da doka- že svoju nevinost.
Anatomy Of A Fall This French thriller is certainly not to be missed, as it won this year’s Palme d'Or, with director Justine Triet becoming only the third female director to win this prestigious award that has been presented annually since 1955. This film is a court drama thriller depicting the story of a writer, played by German actress Sandra Hüller, who is accused of murdering her husband and attempts to prove her innocence in court.
