MARBELJA I za kraj ove male ture, mesto slavno po svojim obožavaocima, slavnim i boga- tim ljudima koji ovde pronalaze omilje- no mesto za odmor. Sve je u Marbelji počelo sa plemićem Rikardom Sorija- nom i njegovim rođakom, koji su se za- ljubili u Marbelju i u tom malom mestu izgradili velelepne hotele. Jedan od njih, „Marbelja klub hotel“, postao je stecište selebritija pedesetih i šezdesetih godi- na prošlog veka. Debora Ker, Ava Gar- dner, Frenk Sinatra, Onazis nekada, pa Eva Longorija, Antonio Banderas, Šon Koneri, Kristijano Ronaldo, Sting, Hulio Iglesias i mnogi drugi danas, učinili su ovo mesto slavnim. Marbelja vas neće izneveriti kada je u pitanju neverovatna hrana. U gradu se nalaze čak četiri restorana sa „Mišleno- vim“ zvezdicama, predvođeni restora- nom „Skina“ koji ima čak dve, a nalazi se u šarmantnom starom gradu, belih kuća i kaldrmisanih uskih uličica koje su stvarno neodoljive. Ne smete da pro- pustite ni jedinstvene skulpture Salva- dora Dalija. Deset njegovih posthumno proizvedenih bronzanih dela nalazi se u živopisnom parku Avenida del Mar, iz- među starog grada i obale mora, koji je postao svojevrsni muzej na otvorenom. Naravno, neizostavna je poseta marini Puerto Banus, na čije su otvaranje svo- jevremeno došli Grejs Keli i Hju Hefner, a koja je danas dom ekluzivnim butici- ma najskupljih brendova i najvećim ja- htama sveta. I tako stižemo da kraja ove kratke avan- ture koja ni blizu ne može da vam pre- doči sve lepote Andaluzije, čiji smo sa- mo jedan deo tek okusili. Možda se sretnemo na nekom sledećem putova- nju jer, kao što rekoh na početku ovog teksta, kada je avion ostavljao Malagu iza nas, ja nisam prestajala da pevam „I have to see you again and again...“ MARBELLA And to conclude this little tour, a place that’s famous for the rich and famous people that love it, who find their favour- ite holiday spot right here. Everything in Marbella started with nobleman Ricardo Soriano and his cousin, who fell in love with Marbella and built magnificent ho- tels in this small town. One of them, the
Marbella Club Hotel, became a place for celebrities to gather in the 1950s and ‘60s. This place has been made famous by the likes of Deborah Kerr, Ava Gard- ner, Frank Sinatra and Onassis, back in the day, and by Eva Longoria, Anto- nio Banderas, Sean Connery, Cristiano Ronaldo, Sting, Julio Iglesias and many others in modern times. Marbella won’t disappoint you when it comes to amazing food. The city is home to as many as four Miche- lin-starred restaurants, led by Restau- rante Skina, which has as many as two stars and is located in the charming old town, with its white houses and narrow cobblestone streets that are really ir- resistible. Another must is to check out the unique sculptures of Salvador Da- li. Ten of his posthumously produced bronze works are located in the pictur-
esque square of Avenida del Mar, be- tween the old town and the seafront, which has become a kind of outdoor museum. Another must, of course, is a visit to Puerto Banús marina, the opening of which was attended by Grace Kelly and Hugh Hefner, and which is today home to exclusive boutiques of the most ex- pensive brands and the world’s biggest yachts. And that’s how we end this short ad- venture, which can’t even come close to presenting all the beauty of Anda- lusia, having offered only a small taste of the region. Perhaps we’ll meet again on some other trip, because, as I not- ed at the beginning of the article, when the plane left Malaga behind us, I kept on singing “I have to see you again and again...”
