Durability Sponsors

gion. Red Dog Mine produces zinc, lead, silver and germanium, and the Ambler Mining District contains deposits of copper, gold, lead, zinc, silver and co- balt. The Alaska Miners Association (AMA) aligns with our philosophy of responsible mineral production in Alaska. By supporting AMA, we are investing in an organization that advocates for proper representa- tion of the industry with our state and national lead- ers, and the public.

Northern Star Resources Limited is a global-scale Australian gold producer. Since acquiring Pogo mine in 2018, the operation has grown to more than 525 full-time year-round employees. Pogo mine is an underground gold mine and is located on state land in the upper Goodpaster Riv- er Valley, approximately 38 miles northeast of Delta Junction and 85 miles east-southeast of Fairbanks, Alaska. The mine runs year-round, 24-hours per day and expects to deliver 300,000 ounces per year by the end of 2023. Northern Star Resources supports the mission and goals of the Alaska Miners Association so mak- ing a financial commitment as a Durability Sponsor was simple. It is an opportunity to sustain the incred- ible work being done every day to promote respon- sible mineral production in Alaska.
