Metro New Jersey Chapter 2013 President, Paul W. Korch, MAI

Metro NJ Chapter Appraisal Institute 2013 Chapter Officers

I am honored to be serving as the President of the Metro New Jersey Chapter for 2013. I have been a member of this chapter since 1977 when it was known as New Jersey Chapter 1. Over the years we have grown together and I believe that we provide the best educational programs in the field of Real Estate Appraisal practice. We also run the most dynamic and informative conferences that enhance our professional careers such as the Princeton Conference at the Marriott Hotel and Conference Center on April 18th. These conferences provide CE for appraisers, tax assessors, realtors, brokers and attorneys as well as a forum for networking. Another function of our chapter is to support various charities through events during the year; one such popular event is the baseball fundraiser at Patriot’s stadium in Bridgewater, NJ on May 19th. This year the chapter will be raising money to fund the New Jersey Coalition of Appraisers. Learn more about this newly formed group and what you can do on our website at www.ai-newjersey.org. I am dedicated to guide the chapter as we face many new changes that are taking place on a national level. For example, the “new” picture of our organization is a professional association made up of designated professionals, candidates and those who maintain an affiliation with the Appraisal Institute. The chapter has a fantastic cabinet of committee chairs, consisting of designated professionals and candidates, who plan our programs and lead the way in communicating information to assist appraisers throughout the state. Please keep checking our website for upcoming educational offerings, events, and government relations updates. The Appraisal Institute is a leader in education, communication and information and the Metro New Jersey Chapter is your source to stay current.
