APHCI launches new expert panels
A new series of expert panels, designed to better reflect and support the diverse range of specialisms within the industry, has recently been launched by the Association of Plumbing and Heating Contractors Ireland (APHCI). As the sector continues to evolve - driven by advances in technology, growing sustainability requirements and changing regulatory frameworks - it is more important than ever that all voices within the trade are heard. These new panels will bring together experienced professionals from across different areas of the industry, creating a structured platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing and informed input into policy and industry development. The panels will focus on key segments of the trade, ensuring that the unique challenges and opportunities within each area are properly represented. This initiative strengthens APHCI’s ability to advocate effectively on behalf of its members while also supporting the development of practical, industry-led solutions. By engaging directly with contractors working on the ground, the panels will help shape APHCI’s ongoing work in areas such as standards, training, sustainability and best practice. They will also play an important role in informing national discussions around the future of plumbing and heating in Ireland. APHCI is now inviting expressions of interest from professionals who would like to get involved in these expert panels. This is an opportunity for individuals to contribute their expertise, influence the direction of the industry and be part of

a collaborative effort to strengthen the sector. Anyone interested in finding out more or participating in the panels is encouraged to contact David@aphci.ie for further information. Strong presence & positive engagement at Plumbex Limerick APCHI was delighted to attend this year’s Plumbex Limerick. As one of the key gatherings in the industry calendar, it provided an excellent opportunity to connect with members, suppliers and stakeholders from across the sector. Events like this are hugely important for an association such as ours. They allow us to engage directly with contractors on the ground, hear first-hand about the challenges and opportunities facing the
industry, and ensure that we continue to represent our members effectively at both national and European level. The strong attendance and level of engagement at this year’s event clearly demonstrated the vitality and resilience of the plumbing and heating sector. APCHI would like to sincerely thank the organisers for delivering such a well- run and valuable event. Their continued commitment to bringing the industry together is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to supporting future exhibitions.
