Sutter Health’s West Douglas Care Center renovation seamlessly integrates modern design, enhanced functionality, and expanded medical services to create a dynamic, patient-centered outpatient care setting. This two-phase, 25,500-square-foot transformation reconfigures an existing OSHPD 3 outpatient clinic into a state-of-the-art, multi-specialty healthcare destination. The redesigned space accommodates a Family Medicine clinic, a Dermatology clinic and MOHS clinic, and a dedicated Lab/Blood Draw area. The renovation involved extensive demolition and fully reimagined interior featuring new finishes, artwork, and furniture that reflect Sutter Health’s latest branding and placemaking standards. A spacious, centralized reception and waiting area serves as a welcoming hub, designed to enhance patient comfort and streamline clinic operations.
Beyond interior upgrades, the project included critical site enhancements to improve accessibility and support the installation of two new imaging trailers. These units house an MRI suite and a PET/ CT scanner, significantly expanding diagnostic capabilities and ensuring patients have convenient access to advanced imaging technology.
