THE KING’S BUSINESS

A Quartette of Evangelists

J. C. W H IT E . J. D. HABBICK. H. A. HUNDERUP. L. F. PECKHAM.

* I 'H E Institute is sending out a quartette of workers for the four summer months, to hold tent meetings along the coast. We are happy in having such a band of men for this work. The leader, Rev. J. D, Habbick, pastor of the Presbyterian Church of the Redeemer of this city, has had a large and varied experience, first in mission work, then as an evangelist, and later as a successful preacher and pastor. He has the endorse ment of the Ministerial Union of Los An geles. Professor L. F. Peckham, Musical Director of the Institute, is one of the sweetest of solo singers and has shown his ability as a chorus leader in conducting the great Endeavor Chorus at the last Interna tional Endeavor Convention. Mr. J. Ches ter White' is a noted pianist and accom panist who played for the Endeavor Con vention and who has been connected with the Bible Institute for several years. Mr.

H. A. Hunderup, one of the Bible Insti tute students, is an all around Christian worker. All these men are devoted Christian work ers and are thorougly qualified for an evan gelistic campaign. Special attention will be given to work for young people. After noons will be devoted to Bible Readings. The evening services will be along the line of old-fashioned Gospel meetings. There will be Gospel music that will attract the' people and Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord will be exalted and the integrity of the Bible will be maintained. Meetings will be held in Bakersfield in June and we hope the following three months may be given to Washington or Oregon. Bakersfield is a needy field and we solicit for these brethren the earnest prayers of all our readers. We covet the prayers of all our friends for tipis special mission.
