Welcome
Welcome to our Annual Private Treaty Bull Sale!
It may be with frozen fingertips and frozen toes that we are writing this letter – LOL – but warmer weather is just around the corner, and the set of bulls we have to offer this year is sure to heat things up! We are offering a very nice set of bulls for you to choose from, whether you are looking for a heifer bull, power bull, maternal bull, or a combination of these traits. As always, our bulls are fed a high-roughage diet consisting of ground alfalfa/grass hay, corn, oats, DDGs, and silage, along with an excellent mineral program and complete shot record. Our bulls are not overfed or underfed but rather developed in a way that promotes longevity and provides the best possible return on your investment. And we DO NOT CREEP FEED our calves, they must be raised by their mommas!!! We want to know what our cows are actually producing, not what the feed store is delivering!
The bulls will be individually priced and sold on a first-come, first-served basis. The new bloodlines we introduced two years ago have far exceeded our expectations and have complemented our cow herd exceptionally well. The first heifers out of those bulls are calving this spring – some have already calved – and they are absolutely beautiful! These bulls have excellent feet, heel, legs and body structure, along with good dispositions and plenty of eye appeal. All bulls are guaranteed breeders and will be semen tested toward the end of April. They will also receive all pre-breeding shots, be poured, and dewormed prior to delivery – free of charge and at your convenience. We do encourage you to insure your bulls as soon as they are purchased, as they become your responsibility at that time, even though we are happy to keep and feed them free of charge until delivery.
Our goal since we started raising registered Red Angus bulls back in early 1990s has been to provide you with the best possible customer service and the best possible set of bulls to choose from. We continue to search for and breed new genetics that will help both us and you to make genetic advancements in this so demanding world we live in. We are extremely critical and fussy when selecting new bloodlines to incor- porate into our herd, because we know that this not only affects our ranch but yours too. So please, give us a call, text, or Facebook message to arrange a time to stop in, view the bulls, discuss your goals, and find the bulls that best fit your operation. We look forward to visiting with you, showing you some Valnes Ranch hospitality, and providing you with the customer service you deserve.
Sincerely, Emit, Jayme and Larkin Valnes
