Lot 8: Let’s start with the dam, 3SCC Millie H42, on this one. She is a bull making machine. We purchased her from Sonstegard Cattle Company where she topped the sale as an open heifer. Her first calf, named Chappell Meatmarket, was tremendous

and topped the sale going to Brian of Glienke, IA. In 2024, she had the second high seller, going to Barry Winter of Cogan Station, PA. In last year’s sale, she had the high selling heifer, going to Gianna Homan of Centre Hall, Pa. The sire, Bieber Jumpstart J137, has been a breed impact sire producing high end cattle worldwide. This is the only Jumpstart sired bull available in this year’s sale. Take advantage of the stacked and proven genetics behind this guy, he is a standout for sure.

Lot 9: This calf is a direct son out of PIE Hollywood 222’s dam. This is the result of good ET work and studying pedigrees from our friends at Hillegas Red Angus. If you see CHAPP-HILL in this sale, you better look hard because you probably can’t buy those genetics anywhere else in the country. The sire, PIE Herdsman 2012, is becoming one of the breeds leading sires and semen has been very limited. Chapp-Hill Cow Boss N11ET has 10 EPDs in the top 25% of the breed. He is a curve bender with low birth to top 2% growth. He has lots of milk (top 9%) and a Marb EPD of .79 (top 7%) and is dark red. We have him at a 5.8 frame with excellent feet and legs. Cow Boss is a serious herd bull prospect to consider for your next bull. A full brother sells as lot 25.
