ACCUMULATOR
DECOUPLED SYSTEM The hydraulic pump feeds and pressurizes the fixture, clamping the part. Then the hoses are disconnected. An accumulator retains the fixture pressure during the machining cycle. At part unload, pump hoses are re-connected allowing oil from the fixture to return to the pump tank.
