PREMIER ADDRESS FOR CONTEMPORARY ART High-calibre contemporary art awaits you at the gallery in the Stammelbach warehouse. Located directly at the main railway station in a warehouse building with post-industrial charm, this is Hildesheim's most important exhibition venue for contemporary art. Spanning two floors and 1,000 m², the gallery hosts 12 changing exhibitions each year, featuring painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and instal - lation art. Regional, national and international artists have been presenting their work here for 23 years. Vernissages, guided tours, artist talks, readings and concerts round off the programme. Admission free. Sat–Sun 11 a.m.–6 p.m.
FACTORY FOR MUSIC, STAGE AND URBAN CULTURE
Kulturfabrik Löseke (KUFA) has been Hildesheim’s largest socio-cultural centre for over 30 years, offering a varied programme of events in a wide range of areas under one roof: concerts by national and international artists, par - ties, comedy, poetry slam, theatre, pub quizzes, (further) education, dance and creative workshops, cooking groups and numerous socio-cultural projects. Every year, the KUFA hosts around 700 events with a total of more than 50,000 visitors. These are often organised by the KUFA itself, but the centre also thrives on a wide range of collaborations with various user groups in and around Hildesheim.

OUT OF THE RUT, INTO THE BISCHOFSMÜHLE! Bischofsmü hle Cyclus 66 e.V. is a non-profit cultural asso - ciation recognised as worthy of support and based in the Bischofsmü hle Hildesheim. The building is located on the Innerste in the heart of the city and offers a unique atmos - phere in the basement of a former water mill. This is why the “Mü hle” is often referred to as “the chicest club be - tween Moscow and New York”. In addition to the yearround cultural activities at the Bischofsmü hle, the association has been organising Jazztime Hildesheim since 1979. Over the years, the three-day jazz festival, which always takes place at Whitsun, has become as much a cultural trademark of the city of Hildesheim as the Bischofsmü hle itself.
CREATIVE · TOGETHER · CELEBRATE Woodlands e.V. stands for shared experiences, creative exchange and open encounters. Founded in 2019 by several collectives, Woodlands has developed into one of the city's most exciting projects. At its heart is the Woodlands site: a colourful place full of life is being created on 5,100 m², where concerts, parties and open-air cinema have just as much space as flea markets, workshops and family cele - brations. The aim is to create spaces where community, participation, creativity and inclusion can be experienced. Woodlands wants to enable unforgettable moments for Hildesheim and the region.
