Holle is a municipality with many charming facets – picturesquely nestled between the Innerste and Nette river valleys – surrounded by forests and hills. Visitors can expe - rience a special blend of culture, nature and family-friendly activities. It is not without reason that Holle bears the title ‘Community of Castles & Palaces’. Medieval walls, Renais - sance splendour and Baroque elegance characterise the townscape – above all the ensemble around the Derneburg Castle Art Museum. The former monastery and castle is now a venue for contemporary, internationally renowned art. From March to October, exhibitions can be viewed as
