Thanks to this training, you will learn what a POS is, its general functionalities, and its structure.

Within this module, you will learn:

To identify the POS interface, what some of its most common icons mean, and the functionalities that can be performed with it.

To conclude, you will be introduced to the general components of your POS.

A POS (Point of Sale) is a device that is used in shops to make sales and collect means of payment.

2.2 ACTIVATION OF A USER | ACTIVATION CODE

You will be able to use your user ID for both POS and WebBOS access.

When a POS user is created in the WebBOS, an email containing the "Log In" information, and the "Activation Number" is sent to your mailbox. It is important to remember that the activation code expires after 72 hours. If your code expires, please contact your supervisor.

1. You will be provided with the Log-in and the activation number via an automated e-mail. Please check your inbox and SPAM folder.

2.2 ACTIVATION OF A USER | LOG-IN

Once the user has been activated, you can access the POS with your log-in and your new password.

2. Click on the " Active POS user " tab.

3. Fill in the " POS User " with the Log-in and the " Activation code " field with the Activation Code .

4. Enter a new password that you'll use after activation.

This screen shows the structure of the " Options "tab, which shows the available options configured for the POS.

This screen shows the structure of the " Items " tab, which is used to look for items and services that will then be recorded on the sales ticket.

In the following section you will look at the elements that compose the interface of the POS. It is important to know the location of these elements to know how to work with them properly.

1. Forecourt Panel: Offers the functionalities related to the forecourt of the site and a display of the layout of the pumps.

3. Secondary Panel, or Items & Options Panel: This panel has two parts: • The " Items" tab , which offers a search functionality by name or barcode and customizable shortcuts to the items. • The "Options" tab, where you can find the important elements at a financial level, such as: Cash Closing options, Cash In and Cash Out, Debts, etc.

2. Primary Panel, or Sales Panel: From this panel, you can manage the sales tickets (there can be up to 6 simultaneously) and their operator- customer association. It also allows you to see the details of the transaction and to choose the payment process, etc.

4. Status Bar: This shows the company logo, date and time, various connectivity icons and important messages for the synchronization and use of the POS.

1. Forecourt Configuration Modes. These are the buttons associated with the forecourt functionalities:

• " Stop " blocks all the pumps in the case of an emergency.

• " Pending " provides an overview of all pending fuel transactions that have not been paid yet.

• " Day/Night " allows you to change the pump mode from post- paid to prepaid, and vice versa, according to the previously defined Day/Night configuration at your site.

2. Pumps with their detailed information. These change colour in real time according to their use.

3.3 PRIMARY PANEL

1. Parallel Tickets. Each of the numbers corresponds to a ticket which can act independently. In this way, several operators can sell to different customers in parallel with the same device.

2. POS User/Customer Relationship. Here, you can define which user makes the sale and to which customer it is made. It is important that these fields are completed from the beginning of the sale. To speed this up, the default values can be set, for example, so an unknown customer is pre-selected. These values are editable as long as the ticket has not yet been created.

3. Ticket Content. Items sold, promotions applied, etc. The lines can be edited and can be cancelled at any time before finalizing the transaction.

4. Payment Options. Quick access to the most common payment options such as "Cash" for cash payment or "Card" if an EPT is connected; and access to all the available payment methods by using the "Other MOPs" option.

1. Access to the " Items " and " Cash Journal Options " . You can change between two different existing tabs in this panel.

A. The functionality to search by name or barcode.

B. This field will allow you to manually add items to the ticket and/or modify the quantity of an item.

C. Here you will find the different groups configured from the WebBOS for items without a barcode.

D. This is a display where you will see icons presenting the items available for the sale, according to the selected group. In this case, under the group "Bakery" you will find the shown items.

1. Access to the " Options " tab. This area allows you to change between two different existing tabs in this panel.

2. Available Cash Journal Options. On the "Options" tab, you will find available functionalities configured for the company's POS, such as End of Shift, Ticket Copies, Credit Payments, Reverse, etc.

3. Connectivity and Date. In this section, a variable number of icons will be displayed. These boxes change colours and show information associated with the connectivity of the POS. You will be able to find an FCC Connection icon, a Local Service Connection icon and a Cloud Platform Connection icon. If you hover the mouse over the icons, they will display informative tooltips. This section also shows the Date and the Local Time of the device.

2. Message Bar. Various information resulting from the use of the POS: if the synchronization with the platform has been carried out correctly, there are problems with the sale or with the printer, etc.

1. Logo. At the bottom left of this bar, the logo of your company will be displayed.

2. Notifications Panel: Notifications will be displayed, and at the same time, it allows you to perform search filters un order to locate a specific notification.

1. Bell: Clicking on the bell, the panel with all the notifications received will be displayed.

2. Modal Panel. This section shows relevant information about the POS: its version, the POS ID within the site system (in this case it is 4), as well as the site to which it is associated.

1. The "Help" Tab offers the option to open the "Help & Information"panel of the POS.

3.6 VIRTUAL KEYBOARD

1. The POS has a virtual keyboard that can be used on touch screen devices if you do not have the option of using a physical keyboard. It appears automatically when you connect to the POS and any time information needs to be completed in a text box.
