BTEC Intermediate Award in Multimodal International Freight Procedures

Duration: 5 days A formal qualification designed for anyone involved in any part of the door-to-door freight process. The first half of this five-day followed by two days of Customs procedures. This course is designed for anyone involved in any part of the freight process – forwarders, integrators, intermediaries, agents, shippers, carriers and operators in all modes, importers, exporters, distributors and logisticians. This is qualification covers freight forwarding elements and is

a nationally recognised qualification which is accredited by Edexcel at BTEC Level 2. There will be homework and a 90-minute formal assessment at the end of the course. But do not let this put you off. As this is a technical course, delegates can refer to their workbook and notes during the final exam. Trainer Focus: Carri Marais Based in South Yorkshire, Carri joined us in January 2023, having over 25 years of experience in freight forwarding and logistics. She also has extensive knowledge of CDS and first-hand experience of actually making declarations into this new system. In her free time, Carri enjoys knitting and is a qualified hypnotherapist.
