After two year of construction, W&H’s expansion, dou- bling warehouse capacity and expanding office space is complete The company celebrated this investment in both employees and customers at a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on May 1st. Among those present were U.S. Congressman Gabe Amo; RI Secretary of Commerce Stefan Pryor; RI State Senator Thomas Paolino; RI State Representative Maryann Shallcross Smith; Lincoln Town Administrator Phillip Gould; Lincoln Town Councilwoman Pam Azar; and Dr. Sascha Witt, Chief Sales Officer of Windmo- eller & Hoelscher SE & Co. KG in Lengerich, Germany, along with other community representatives. Increasing Capacity The expansion increases operational capacity and supports continued team growth in North America. A new warehouse expands storage of spare parts for both W&H and its subsidiary, GARANT. Currently, more than 70 percent of orders are delivered overnight from the company’s stock in Rhode Island.
Student Day also returns this year, continuing the Alli- ance’s commitment to workforce development. In partner- ship with the Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation, now the Foundation for Graphic Communication Educa- tion, the program connects students directly with compa- nies on the show floor and, in 2026, will even more closely highlight career pathways in print and facilitate conversa- tions around internships and job opportunities. Seen Print Installs Performance Series Press Seen Print, a Romanian package print converter, has in- stalled a Mark Andy Performance Series P7E at its produc- tion facility in Cluj-Napoca. The new press has 8 flexo print stations, a 510mm web width and is fitted with full UV LED curing system.
W&H has installed photovoltaic panels expected to generate most of the facility’s electricity needs, in- cluding powering the HVAC system. The project was supported by federal funding as well as a grant from the Rhode Island Renewable Energy Fund. Construction partners for the project included Rhode Island–based Vision 3 Architects and Vonsol Construction, alongside Insite Engineering Services, GZA Geoenvironmental, Odeh Engineers, and Avid Engineers. W&H’s North American operations have grown to almost 100 employees, representing a 20 percent in- crease over the past two years. The company achieved record sales of $300 million in North America in 2024, contributing to $1.2 billion in global revenue.
Capable of handling a variety of substrates including unsupported film, shrink films, IML, self-adhesive stocks and light carton board up to 450 microns, the Mark Andy P7E press is suited to Seen Print’s wide range of packag- ing products supplied to national and international brand owners in the food & beverage, cosmetic, chemical, auto- motive and pharmaceutical sectors, amongst others.
