The Ravenwood Packaging World Conference 2026 brought together distributors, partners and industry ex- perts from around the globe for a full day of insight, inno- vation and collaboration in Bury St Edmunds, UK. Held at the Athenaeum and Ravenwood headquarters, the event highlighted a year of progress for linerless tech- nology, with a clear message: global growth is accelerat- ing and the opportunity is bigger than ever. Opening the conference, leadership reflected on how dramatically the market has evolved over the past year. While previous discussions focused on strong UK perfor- mance, 2026 shifted the spotlight to global expansion. Sales updates revealed a positive trajectory across multiple regions. The UK continues to perform strongly, driven by conversions to linerless solutions, while Europe is recovering steadily. Notably, APAC and the Americas showed particularly strong momentum, supported by re- structuring, new distributor partnerships and increased market demand. Despite some ongoing challenges — including eco- nomic pressures, longer investment cycles and regional regulatory differences — the overall outlook remains high- ly optimistic. A key highlight of the event was a series of guest
European partners Finnvacum and Lexit shared valu- able distributor perspectives, highlighting how linerless solutions are delivering both environmental and commer- cial benefits — from reduced waste to improved opera- tional efficiency. Sustainability was repeatedly mentioned throughout the day – not just as a responsibility, but as a commercial advantage.
