COMPANY PROFILE

THE COMPANY DECIDED TO HAVE A SOFT LAUNCH FOR THIS DIVISION, BUT NOW THE MECHANICAL CONTRACTING SERVICES ARE OPENLY OUT THERE AS PART OF THIS NEW CHAPTER FOR BRAHAM GROUP… A new chapter

F ormally announcing to the market that Braham Group is open for mechanical contracting business may come as a surprise to some, however, the company has also been operating in this sector for the past few years. Recently, their portfolio has expanded to include combined mechanical and electrical services installations. “From September 2020, we just decided that it was time for a mechanical part of the business. It was a ‘walk before you can run’ approach, to start small and grow into larger projects,” explained MD Ciaran McQuaid. “We had been working at it for the past couple of years, but ‘under the radar’. When we went through the rebranding, the mechanical division was a natural element that needed to be added to the brand, so it was a good time to announce it.” “Some clients also prefer to get the whole package from one company, so that they are dealing with only

one person. It might just help us win someone over at the end,” added Director Jason McQuaid. “Electrical is always going to be our primary element, but we have the option of providing the mechanical installation in projects that suit us.” It is still early days for the new division, but there are expansion plans. “In the long term, we intend to get closer to the electrical side of the business in terms of growth and size, but we will move at a pace that works for us,” Ciaran commented.
