BRAHAM GROUP HAS ESTABLISHED ITS NAME WITH EXCELLENCE IN PROJECTS ACROSS SEVERAL SECTORS IN BOTH THE UK AND IRELAND… Electrical contractor
F or over 50 years, Braham Group has been a leading electrical contractor, winning projects across a variety of sectors, including schools, hotels, transportation, and residential projects. In the beginning, the company worked primarily in areas across Northern Ireland. However, as Braham Group grew, they expanded their operations in successful ventures in Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland. Learn more about the recent projects that have helped Braham Group make its mark in the industry. Translink Milewater Service Station, Belfast In this £21 million flagship project for the home of the Glider Bus fleet, Braham Group provided the electrical installation including high-efficiency LED light fittings using in-built microwave pods for energy efficiency. The company also installed security cameras, door access controls, and fire safety systems.
Translink Northwest Hub, Derry/Londonderry At the £27 million bus and train station, the historical building was restored and required extensive electrical works, ranging from access control systems, CCTV, barriers, and fire and intruder alarms to sector-specific requirements, such as bus and passenger information systems, platform lighting and lightning protection. Sustainability was a key priority, so the works also included the installation of a PV system and vehicle charging points. AIB Bank Headquarters, Belfast The building was completely refurbished. The live nature of the building, with many staff still in place, meant a challenging program, with a phased approach required to complete each area. Broomhill House, Dublin This €36 million complex with 124 apartments is based on a very tight site and needed an underground car
park. This also provided complexities during construction, both in terms of getting Braham Group engineers to site, as well as scheduling deliveries to minimise disruption. The company installed an external lighting wrap for the landscaped areas and the children’s play area. EV Charging Braham Group is now part of the Tesla Motors team to deliver their superchargers across Ireland, having completed the first four sites in 2022, with four more in the pipeline for 2023. The company is also delighted to be part of Translink’s Zero Emission infrastructure, with over 50 superchargers installed. Schools Education has always been a main area for Braham Group, and the company has delivered over 10 newly built schools in the past seven years. The latest project is the new £25 million Devenish College in Enniskillen (NI).
