The company is no stranger to large projects in the private sector, having acquired numerous contracts including the EXO Building, LinkedIn, Indeed, Facebook, Amazon, and Google EMEA HQ offices. Being an Enterprise Ireland client company has enabled Profile to successfully win several Government contracts, with the biggest to date being the New National Children’s Hospital in Dublin. Profile Emergency Lighting Ltd also provide a commissioning and maintenance service and are the nominated main incumbent emergency lighting specialist for the DAA. They have more than 100 individual maintenance contracts with the Office of Public Works and also maintains the emergency lighting at Dundrum Town Centre and 18 years. After working for other electrical installation companies for eight years, he decided to make the dream of having his own business come true and founded Altowire in 2021. “I had to gain experience until I felt comfortable to continue on my own,” he said. With the help of his sister Agne Kesminaite, who also works at Altowire, and his team of five installers, Almantas has already completed a series of large projects successfully. Their portfolio includes the traditional department store Clery’s in Dublin and now Avondale House in Co. Wicklow.

Profile supplied their high-performance 3W recessed PRO/LED downlighters and their low- profile SLD decorative blade exit signs throughout the main section of Avondale House, to provide safe illumination to all final exits. The Visitor Centre areas were fitted with an addressable DALI emergency lighting system. Profile used the Xyvex VSMD Exit, and the LR4 DALI Lens pin spot, both from Mackwell Electronics. UNDERGROUND CABLE PULLING A ltowire worked closely with Cobec Engineering to provide the underground cable pulling

during the electrical installations at Avondale House and Forest Park. A significant amount of trenches had to be dug to perform both drainage and electrical services throughout the site, and Altowire used its specialist diesel and electrical pulling equipment to get the cables underground. The installation matched the scale of the project: some cables were up to 1 km long and weighed from 6 to 8 tons. Altowire owner Almantas Kesminas was very happy to work with the main electrical contractor. “They definitely know what they are doing, and it is hard to find such a great engineering company as Cobec,” he commented. “I’m proud to say we have already booked other jobs with them.” Almantas is from Lithuania and has been living in Northern Ireland for
