BESPOKE LIGHTING M aven worked with NUGENT to supply a selection of Muuto pendants for One Elmwood.
Bell lamp is made using recycled plastic felt and was designed to absorb sound, therefore improving acoustics. The selected Muuto Pendants included the Unfold, Ambit Rail, Under The Bell and a selection of Strand Pendants and Ambit Pendants. “We were delighted to be involved in the brand-new state-of-the-art Students’ Union at Queens,” commented Catherine McGinnis, who runs the business with her sister Patricia. Maven is a family business established in 2013 and the company’s retail space is located at the Reid Memorial Hall, based off the Lisburn Road. Their furniture and lighting collection is sourced from the world’s leading design brands such as Tradition, HAY, Muuto, Menu, Norman Copenhagen, and Ferm Living. Working with architects, designers and M&E firms, Maven supplies furniture and lighting to varying sizes of commercial projects including offices, shopping centres, hotels, restaurants, and cafes.
These were installed throughout the project as feature lights in a selection of modern designs and colours, with the centre piece being the selection of Strand Pendants. The pendants selected are from the leading Danish brand Muuto. Muuto has a focus on design, functionality, and sustainability.
