L ambourn Digital is a marketing agency devoted to aiding the development of companies in the electrical industry in Ireland and the U.K. The company was founded in March 2018 by Ian McLoughlin, a former employee of Demesne Electrical. Since then, the agency has grown to serve close to 100 clients monthly, including electrical wholesalers, distributors, contractors, and panel builders. They have also just moved to their office premises in Dublin 15. “An increase in qualified website traffic can have the same effect as an increase in footfall to a trade counter or showroom, more enquiries and sales for our clients. In fact an improved online presence usually results in more people visiting a local shop or showroom, so it works well both ways.” Ian commented. Lambourn is made up of a team of 11 marketing professionals, specializing in search engine optimisation (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC), web design, social media marketing, copywriting, graphic design, and more. They cover all areas of digital marketing and work closely with their clients in the development and execution of a marketing strategy tailored specifically to them.

issues in e-commerce website design systems, such as long delays caused by collecting product information and difficulties in correctly categorizing data. The new system streamlines this process by gathering and uploading all products and information to the website on behalf of the client. Sellify comes pre-loaded with products from the industry’s leading brands and distributors, so the client doesn’t have to gather and categorise product information. Sellify has been in development for the last 12 months, all the heavy lifting is already done by Lambourn’s team, making it very easy for an electrical wholesaler to get their product range online and reach more people in their area and beyond. The system’s intuitive interface enables clients to easily tailor one of the many templates specifically to their business, with dozens of choices.

Sellify websites come with the option of full eCommerce, where products will have prices against them. However due to the constant changes in copper and other material prices, Sellify now comes with the option to have no prices on the products, instead having a “Request a Quote” button on the product pages. This allows website visitors to build a list of parts, this list gets sent to the wholesaler and they can price the list based on that day’s prices.
