Their impact resistance of IK09 and IP rating of IP67 as well as resistance to UV make them just as suitable for unprotected outdoor areas as they are for dust-rich environments, such as surveillance cameras, greenhouses, or workshops. The X series includes seven models including, X01 (95 x 95 x 60 mm), X02, X04, X06 (190 x 150 x 125 mm), X10, X16 and the largest model X25 (286 x 202 x 126 mm).
The FireBox is designed for the separate requirements in fire protection. It is halogen-free and has a high-temperature-resistant ceramic connection unit inside. Together with the supplied screw anchors, the FireBox is approved for mounting on concrete, masonry, sand-lime brick and standard brickwork. The product is also tested for electrical functional maintenance under DIN 4102 Part 12, functional maintenance classes E30 to E90, which ensures that safety- relevant systems function reliably over a defined period in the event of a fire. All FireBoxes feature protection class IP66. The T-Series cable junction boxes are significantly more stable and resistant. Many types of the T-Series are protected against dust and water jets. With an IP rating of IP55 to IP66, they are suitable for warehouses, sports halls, or multi-storey car parks as well as outdoor areas. The T-series features seven different sizes, from the small- round junction box T25 (Ø80 x 51 mm) to the medium T100 (150 x 116 x 67 mm) to the very large T350 (285 x 201 x 120 mm). FireBox – Safety in case of a fire In the event of a fire, every minute is important so that the fire services can save the most important thing: human lives. For this, certain junctions must retain their ability to work in the event of a fire, the so-called functional preservation. This applies to emergency lighting or other safety-relevant systems.
