The Minton & Donello name has been around since 2002. Minton’s was brought to life in a Garage in Colwall in 1970 which was later passed on to the original founders son Chris Minton. Chris moved the business to a Warehouse in Ledbury but kept the name as Mintons. In 2002 Chris’s Brother-in-Law, Isadora Donello joined the company, and the name was changed to Minton & Donello. The company was later sold to Jim Connell who purchased Good Food Distributors in Llandrindod Wells and took on Roger Watkins as a business partner, the company name was changed to Mintons Good Food. In 2010 Roger Watkins purchased the share from Jim Connell and kept the name as Mintons Good Food.

In 2023 the majority company shares were purchased by James and Matthew Dobson and the name changed to Minton & Donello, a division of Dundeis UK Ltd.
