The Word of Life Experience: Summer 2024

Ukraine Amidst the turmoil of a full-scale war that initiated over two years ago, Matias Radziwiluk (Director of Word of Life Ukraine), his family, and his team stand as a beacon of hope in Ukraine. Despite the adversity of war, they have reached over 15,000 people across the country, shining a light in the darkness with the gospel. Their ministry includes satellite camp programs across cities for community and support, a Bible Institute welcoming 15 students for ministry preparation, and a touring Christmas presentation, “In Search of Light,” reaching 16 cities and over 8,000 people with hope. Despite war threats and missile attacks, they continue their mission, also ministering to front-line soldiers with meals, prayer, and the gospel. Matias's team thanks the global community for their support and seeks continued prayers for safety and normalcy restoration in Ukraine.

Jeju, South Korea Seven teens from Jeju, South Korea, experienced a life-changing encounter with the gospel at a Word of Life camp a few years ago. Today, these same teens decided to plan and lead their own camp through their church. The Word of Life Korea team offered them support and resources, and they ran a successful church camp week with 40 campers in attendance. Their journey from unsaved campers to starting their own Bible camp highlights the power of God working in and through young hearts. Let's continue to pray for these teens, Korean churches, and the ministry of the Word of Life Korea team in Jeju as they pursue further growth and life change.
